THE MT. MORRIS SENIOR CENTER IS COLLECTING
FLAT PLASTIC TO GET A TREX BENCH!
Please donate your plastic bags and
help us collect 500 pounds of plastic!

The MM Senior Center is working with the Trex Community Recycling Program to recycle plastic bags. In six months the Senior Center needs to collect 500 pounds of plastic. They will receive a bench from the company if they reach their goal!

They are asking for help from residents to bring clean, dry plastic bags from 9 am to 1pm Monday through Friday at the Mt. Morris Senior Center, 9 East Front St. The Village Hall is also collecting the plastic bags for them.

Any plastic that stretches is the right kid of plastic to recycle with this program. They can't take any hard plastic, but plastic bags and plastic wrap will work.Be sure that all plastic brought in is clean and dry.

If you need to drop it off at a different time, call the Senior Center at 815-734-6335 to make arrangements.
