Mt. Morris Jamboree Free
Friday Night Concerts on the Campus

What a tremendous 2025 Summer Jamboree Concert Season! We had the largest crowds ever – over 2,500 attendees for our last concert of the season!

The Fortunate Sons once again closed our 2025 season in a rather impressive fashion, as usual. Just like last year, they drew a new record attendance. This year they did 500 better than last, and gleefully entertained 2500 very happy people tonight! These Cats can really cook! Thanks so much to the fellas for bringing such a great Rock and Roll Show to our little country town! Thanks very kindly also to all of the food vendors, O.C. Beef Producers, Riverstone Christian Church, the MM Center, and Just 4 Fun, as well as Marcie and crew with Ewe and Me Acres Farmers Market, arts and crafts and plants fair, but especially to each and every one of you 2500 citizens who came out to join the party! Rest assured, I'm planning to bring them back to close the 2026 season. Grateful thanks also to Jamboree fans Ron and Donna Wick for bringing this fine Rock and Roll machine to my attention! Hearty thanks to all involved with making the Jamboree happen, all of the Bands, Vendors, and extra especially to all of you Live Music Lovers who come out to enjoy and support our festivities! We will see you on the Campus next June and commence the merriment once again!

Diane Palmer videod the concerts live on Facebook and then posted them on YouTube and on the premiere community website - Moundertown.com (this website!) under the Summer Concerts Videos page. (In fact, you will see all 2023 videos along with 2025 concerts, so if you missed one or more, or want to rewatch any, that is your place to go!) Thanks also to Ed Higley for sharing the concerts on 104.1 FM radio every week!

Once again, a huge shout-out to all the vendors every week, our local sponsors, and of course the “Free-Will” donations!
We look forward to seeing you in June 2026!
==========================================================
Our 2025 season of free live music on the bandshell in the center of town on our beautiful and historic Campus has finished for this year!

We have the best free concerts in Ogle County and the Friday night Mt. Morris Jamboree concerts are why. Regional and national musicians bring a variety of styles like folk, rockabilly, country, classic rock and tribute bands to the campus during the summer. There are some permanent benches and lots of green space for lawn chairs. Arrive early to get a good spot and sample the food scene, visit the art gallery and Mt. Morris Historical Museum in College Hall on the campus, or shop the sidewalk vendors.

The concerts are free, although donations are welcome.
