The Mt. Morris Jamboree hit it out of the park on August 29th with a whopping 2,500 people attending the final concert of the 2025 season. Fortunate Sons performed all the best Creedance Clearwater Revival hits that we have loved throughout the years. Larry Ubben again brought in the best bands this year that entertained the crowds that were attending, but also the viewers online. The Jamboree began on June 13th with Rick Lindy, Rocks Off, and Johnny Lyons and the Pride. By the end of June, 3,993 people had come online to Moundertown LIVE to view the concerts.
In July, we had even more viewers watching ShinDig, Bagshot Row, Grass Attack, and Chicago Tribute Anthology as the numbers increased to 4,274. It was now August with Brass from the Past, The Jimmys, Surf Zombies, Captain Rat & the Blind Rivets, Mr Myers, Heartache Tonight, Ricky Lindy, All Star Superband, and closing it up with Fortunate Sons that brought it home for Moundertown LIVE with 7,538 views, which brought us to a whopping 15,805 viewers for this 2025 season. Who would have thought that we would be reaching so many? We have had people locally from Oregon, Dixon, Byron, Polo, Rockford, Sycamore, Dekalb, Arizona, Minnesota, Iowa, Florida, Texas, California, and Tennessee. We thank you for watching.
I would like to take a moment and thank Larry Ubben for his dedicated work to bring this to the community (far and wide). Keep up the good work, and I know that I speak for everyone when I say that we can't wait until June 2026.
I also want to thank Linda Jewett Miller for her dedication to the www.moundertown.com website, where we archive the videos (3 years now). Please continue to to visit this site, as it has so much information to keep you informed of what is happening in Mt Morris.
Moundertown LIVE will be "live" again in the future at some sort of event that may be happening. Stay tuned, everyone, and I will see you LIVE. Thank you to everyone for letting me have fun providing you with live-streams of Mt Morris Events.
