Saturday December 7th @1:00pm-3:00pm- Story Time with Mrs. Clause
Our annual cookies and stories with Mrs. Clause is finally here! Enjoy cookies and cocoa while Mrs. Clause reads. Then create an edible winter picture and an ornament to take home!

Sunday December 15th @2:00pm- Cookie exchange and crafting party
Bring in your favorite cookies to exchange with others. We will have a tasting first and vote on our favorites for different categories. Bring a tin to collect the cookies in. Then create some beautiful winter crafts to help decorate your home including a sock snowman. All materials will be provided but you may bring a fun sock or two to turn into the hat instead of a plain one.  
Friday December 20th @4:00pm- Family Christmas Movie Night
To celebrate the last day of school for 2019 we will be having a movie night. All ages are welcome to come and watch as a boy is left alone at Christmas and must defend his home from intruders. Children between 8 and 13 may come unaccompanied with a signed permission slip (available at the library); under age 8 must have an adult. Contact the library for more details on what movie we are showing. 

Friday December 27th all day- STEM Day
Don’t know what to do with the kids for winter break? Send them to the library! On Friday 12/27 we will have a rotation of different STEM toys and activities to keep the kids, and parents, busy. 

Holiday Closings
We will be closed Thanksgiving Day- 11/28, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day- 12/24&25, New Years Day 1/1. In addition there will be no story time on 11/27. 

Drop Of Site for Film Plastic Recycling 
You can now recycle your clean and dry film plastic, which is any plastic that can be wadded into a ball, to be turned into a bench! Stop in for more details.

Upcoming Events: 
Special Winter Story time- Look for special story times over winter break for all ages. 

Healthy Cents adult program- Starting Jan 9th @5:30pm we will have a program for adults on eating healthy on a budget. This will be very hands on and include a taste test of a delicious recipe each class. This will reoccurring every 2nd and 4th Thursday of the month. Call or stop in to sign up.

Story Time & Big Kids Book Club- Every Wednesday morning @11:15am all ages (Upcoming dates 12/4, 12/11, 12/18, 1/8, 1/15)

After School Club- Every 1st and 3rd Wednesday of the month @3:00pm ages 5 and up (Upcoming dates 12/4, 12/18, 1/15)

Lego Club- Every 2nd Monday of the month @5:45pm all ages (Upcoming dates 12/9, 1/13) 

Mommy & Me- Every 1st & 3rd Monday of the month @11:15am moms and little (Upcoming dates 12/2, 12/16)

Rock Painting Club- Every 3rd Monday of the month @5:30pm all ages (we do use permanent paint) (Upcoming dates 12/16)

Cookbook Club- Every 1st Tuesday of the month @6:00 for adults. Visit the library to choose your recipe. (Upcoming dates 12/3, 1/7) 

Library Board Meeting- December 18th at 7:00pm

 Children under age 8 must be accompanied by an adult for all programs.
