MT. MORRIS PUBLIC LIBRARY REQUESTS YOUR SUPPORT
Just a reminder that our library is a true Mt. Morris treasure, having existed for over 100 years thanks to so many dedicated people sharing their time and financial support.

If it has been awhile since you visited the library, or never have, we encourage you to stop and check it out! If you are so inclined, we would be most appreciative if you would consider becoming a Library Foundation Member. A ONE YEAR SUSTAINING is $25.00 and a LIFE MEMBERSHIP is $100. Please deliver or mail mail your support check written to Mt. Morris Community Library Foundation, to 105 S. McKendrie Ave, Mt. Morris, IL 61054

It is amazing that in this digital age, Libraries are still very popular places to frequent. The staff and programming at ours are amazing.

Your support to the Foundation will help ensure free library cards to all Village residents and low cost cards to non-residents. Thank you.

THE MT. MORRIS SENIOR CENTER IS COLLECTING
FLAT PLASTIC TO GET A TREX BENCH!
Please donate your plastic bags and help us collect 500 pounds of plastic!

The MM Senior Center is working with the Trex Community Recycling Program to recycle plastic bags.

In six months the Senior Center needs to collect 500 pounds of plastic. They will receive a bench from the company if they reach their goal.

They are asking for help from residents to bring clean, dry plastic bags from 9 am to 1pm Monday through Friday at the Mt. Morris Senior Center, 9 East Front St.

Any plastic that stretches is the right kid of plastic to recycle with this program. They can’t take any hard plastic, but plastic bags and plastic wrap will work.

Be sure that all plastic brought in is clean and dry. If you need to drop it off at a different time, call the Senior Center at 815-734-6335 to make arrangements. They can also be dropped off at the Village Hall anytime during regular office hours.

Thank You for helping us recycle plastic and obtain a Trex Bench!
